Autograph letter initialed from G. Twysden, Rome, to an unidentified recipient, 1633 November 26.

Contains letter fragment. G. Twysden had met the addressee (an Italian) about a year before in the company of Daniel Niis. He writes of awaiting two books, one of these being on the Council of Trent by Father Terenzio Alciati. Alciati had collected many documents for a history of this Council to refute the history of Paolo Sarpi and these were later used by Pallavicino in writing a new one of the Council.
